I finished this book last week and I was a mess. It took me some time to collect my feelings and try to articulate just how good this book is. First let me say, Danielle Allen does not care about your feelings! She reels you in thinking this is going to be a simple story of lost love and found but nope she goes ahead and sucker punch you right in the feels. This story is about Layla and William who are soul mates but for some reason they just can't get the timing right. A chance meeting has them hooking up again and just when you think they are going to get that HEA nope Williams ex pops up and drops a bomb. Layla also has a bomb of her own that she is keeping from Will. I won't give away the whole story line because this is a book that you have to read in order to understand how I dropped a tear or two in the middle of a restaurant. The beauty of this story is that it is so well written that you are actively immersed in the characters and you experience every emotion that they do. She has a way of writing that it's like reading a movie. All I can say is that even though this book broke my heart, I am glad that it did. It's an amazingly beautiful story and you should Read This Book!
